Key Formulas
Inductive and capacitive contributions cancel at resonance. A series circuit then has minimum impedance; a parallel circuit with parallel loss resistance has maximum impedance. Quality factor relates resonance frequency to the half-power bandwidth.
Ideal series loss resistance R > 0. Sinusoidal RMS source at explicit excitation frequency f > 0; f₀ is calculated separately. No parasitic elements.
Calculate
Type prefixes directly: 1.5k, 250m or 20u. Results: 3 significant figures.
Ideal series loss resistance R > 0. Sinusoidal RMS source at explicit excitation frequency f > 0; f₀ is calculated separately. No parasitic elements.
Enter the required input values to calculate.
